You guys just don't get it. Among Obama supporters, nobody cares about this stuff. Even if you produced a picture of Obama and Ayres french-kissing beneath a sign that read I HEART COMMUNISM no one would care. As far as they are concerned, this stuff is irrelevant — the produce of the Republican Smear Machine.

I've been saying it for months now but folks don't seem to understand: WE ARE NOT FIGHTING A POLITICAL CANDIDATE HERE. WE ARE FIGHTING A CULT OF PERSONALITY. Political arguments of the type that work against ordinary politcians will not work against Barack Obama. To his followers, he is not a politician — he is the Dear Leader, the secular messiah that has come to lead us to the Promised Land.

For God's sake, stop trying to get the goods on Obama. It won't work. Instead, let's spend our time formulating strategies for survival in an America ruled by a dangerous cult of personality.
