There is one thing that may convince me this is true. This young lady seems to be intelligent, have her head on straight and others on this forum have pointed out that she has a blog that is well written and does not appear to have any disorders.
Would she not have realized as she was cutting herself that the B is backwards and create suspicion? And she is old enough and politically aware enough to realize that a false story to the police will eventually get revealed.
One other thing, the McCain camp has spoken to her and made it public. At this stage of the campaign they would go to great lengths to avoid being embarrassed. I think they confirmed it before making their voices public.
