McCain has cut into Obama's lead for a second day and is now just 1.1 points behind. The spread was 3.7 Wednesday and 6.0 Tuesday. The Republican is making headway with middle- and working- class voters, and has surged 10 points in two days among those earning between $30,000 and $75,000. He has also gone from an 11-point deficit to a 9-point lead among Catholics.

Agreed. I am done with the Wall Street Journal. Since Murdoch bought them 6 months or so ago - it has rapidly become a liberal rag. I think Murdoch is also pushing Fox News to the left.
Good news ping
Remember the MSM is going to call Florida Before polls in the Panhandle close. They think we forgot.
That would be amusing.
I saw the catholic one...can you point me to some others?
Hey, I was trying to be nice and stuff.... :)
Thank you. I was going to post that but got busy. I read it the other day.
Keep in mind too, this poll was cited as most accurate in predictions based on results last time around.
LOL! That was hillarious. Thanks for the comedy, I love liberal fear.......
A few weeks ago Obama gave a speech at my hometown of La Crosse, Wisconsin. I watched from my car during my lunch break as thousands of UW-La Crosse college students trooped from campus to see The Messiah. I saw McCain give a speech in La Crosse a week later, and there was no college stampede for McCain. I have to believe the 74-22 for McCain was a misprint.

Is it possible that was a typo, or the numbers should have been reversed? Not only does this poll show the opposite of what just about every other one has forecast, but I can’t imagine McCain being that far ahead in ANY demographic. If 0bama still has 74% of 18-24 year olds and leads by only 1, then it is good news. Otherwise I think I would reject this poll as flawed.
Here’s a link to check out (look at the slide show). The Today show came to the campus and you’ll see a good many Obama signs, but just as many McCain signs if you view all the slides.

I tend to agree, but I will say three out of my four sons and daughters in-laws, all in their twenties, are voting for McCain. One of my daughters-in-law is a pro-choice lawyer. Guess who she's voting for? She's a very nice person though.
Thank you ;)
