If it really hits the fan, there's no way the entire U.S. goes "Stazi".
If the U.S. Military goes along with worst case scenario, which I think is doubtful, there would be a terrible bloody civil war.

My thinking is, if things start going south, is that States will secede, starting with Texas, spreading across the south. I think most military will go with them. My hunch is that the U.S. Military would coup, with the support of many large state governments.

Since the tin foil is on - I've always thought that the pentagon must have a "Stalin's in the Whitehouse" plan.

You can bet Texas will seceed, I for one am ready, armed and willing to fight to the death to free my native homeland I might not see her free but my fellow Texans might and that is worth dieing for.
