Weak analogy. I know because I lived it...eight years of Clinton because some wanted to send a "message" and voted for "Radar" Perot. Elections have consequences...and to those who voted for Perot I ask, "How'd that work for you? Any discernible lesson conveyed, other than it was stupid?"

We'll have a president for the next four years...and for those who didn't 'waste' their vote and voted for some nobody who had no chance of winning, at the expense of the lesser of two evils...I'll spend the next four years pointing out that Nobama is THEIR President, made possible by them...and ask them, "How's that working out for you?"

I guess the sad part of living in a democratic republic is that we all get to pay for the stupidity of some.
