I’m sure someone already showed you this by now but, in order to be President you have to be born on American soil, citizenship of your mother doesn’t matter. Hence, “Natural born Citizen”.

No I thought there was a perennial confusion about what natural born means. E.g. McCain being born in Panama is o.k. etc.

“... in order to be President, you have to be born on American soil ...”

You have to be “natural-born,” which in most interpretations of the intent of the framers includes being born elsewhere to two U.S. citizens. You are either “natural-born” (a citizen at birth) or you are “naturalized.” Some will try to split hairs and make a distinction between citizenship by soil and citizen by blood but it is my understanding that this distinction has no basis in U.S. constitutional law.
