Even if Obama were born outside the U.S., that does not mean he isn't a citizen. And the BS about his mom only being 18 when she gave birth to him so she does not meet some criteria about living in the U.S. for a certain period of time is stupid as well.

Yes it DOES matter. Only Natural Born US Citizens can be President. If that wasn't so, California's Governor would have been in the White House for the past 8 years and not George W Bush.

The RULES Obama has to go by are the Constitutional Regulations in effect in 1961. His mother DID have to be a US Citizen for 5 years beyond her 16th birthday for her child to be considered NATURAL BORN US Citizen.

Barry Dunham Soetoro (that is probably his REAL name) is either a citizen of Indonesia who used his Indonesian BC to obtain a Passport in 1981 to go "round the world" and into Pakistan when US citizens were banned from going there, OR he is not a Natural Born US Citizen by reason of his mother's promiscuity.

It could be that his legal name is Soetoro, which would embarrass him. But the main point of the objection is that HE DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE FOLLOWING THE US CONSTITUTION TO BECOME ELECTED A US PRESIDENT. The Founding Fathers included that tid-bit on purpose so that the President's allegiance would be UNDIVIDED. Obama's allegiance is to "the world" and not solely to the USofA.

It IS important for the sovereignty of the USofA to remain intact. WE NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH.
