John McCain now leads Barack Obama 54% to 42% in Tennessee, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state.
The latest numbers represent a modest slip for the Republican, who led 58% to 39% in late September. However, McCain has held double-digit leads since tracking began in April, with his lowest level support at 51% in June.

If you go State by State from the 2004 election, the only ones I see that might slip to B. Hussein are Iowa and New Mexico, while we could pick up Pennsylvania and maybe even steal Michigan.
I think it's a fair exchange.

I wonder what Party weighting was used in TN? Rass must have used something more reflective of the real-life distribution than what is being used in VA, NC, OH, and PA.

Remember that during the Dem Primary season, the polls had B. Hussein winning New Hampshire and Pennsylvania the nights before the Primaries; Hillary won both handily.
Let not your hearts be troubled. We’re going to pull-out this election.

With the numbers being what they are in Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina I believe North Carolina and Virginia will fall into the McCain catagory. The margins will be narrower but they will go McCain.

No way in hell B. Hussein wins North Carolina. Virginia may be a tough nut to crack, but McCain is highly popular with the military and there's a strong presence in Norfolk.
the more I look at it, as you break down State by State, you see McCain has better numbers. the lamestream media is trying to buck up their boy Barry by skewing National Results (probably polls done in the offices of the New York Times).

We owe the good people of Tennessee a debit of gratitude for the 2000 election when they did not vote for their own senator (Gore) but chose Bush instead. They did not go for Kerry in 2004 either.
God Bless the good people of Tennessee!

I confess that I am not voting this year. It is my first time to be out of the USA during a presidential election.
Since I am a born Tennessean, I have no doubt at all that
my vote will not be needed.
Even the Goreon could not win his own state.

I like it. It makes up for the troll posts. I, for one, appreciate the good news at a time like this when the MSM are working overtime to discourage us.
