IMO, should that come to pass, there is a very realistic possibility of a "national crisis" in the next four years that will be dealt with by draconian executive emergency edicts that will effectively eliminate the two party system as it now exists.

The killing is not the ultimate goal. The Left believes there is no genetic component to Human Nature and that it is infinitely malleable. The killing is merely the tool for weeding out that portion of the population that has been tainted by the Past. As the march to Utopia progresses, however, there is always a portion that carries forward that taint and that must be continually eliminated. Because much of Human Nature is, in fact, genetic, the killing can never end, but it is not a goal, "only" a necessary tool, and the philosophical Left does not understand that the killing can never end. The Left believes it will all end with the advent of New Soviet Man or Utopia or the Brave New World or whatever the Bright New Future of Mankind is termed. The real future, should the United States succumb to this Socialist worldview is, at best, a medieval serfdom with most of a greatly reduced population functioning with 50-70 IQ supporting a numerically declining elite who retain what is left of a deteriorating technology.The economic history of Mankind since the Middle Ages will be reversed.

The practical Left is in it solely for the power and wealth and is the actual engine of the whole Left.

Yeah, on second thought you're right, I'll keep my Strat. I really only need a 'Defender' type Shotgun and an SKS anyway (plus ammo) to complete my needs.

An H&R 'Pardner Protector' shotgun is $169, a 'Maverick Arms' (Mossberg) is +/-$20 more and I can get a 'new' SKS for about $200 with my C&R License.

The Democrats have been courting minorities for years, and the repudiation of Hillary is the first inkling that the whites in the Democrat Party are losing control. I have said that in about 20 years there will be two parties: a party made up of white people and a party made up of minorities. Of course, by then white people will be in the minority.

Spot on. Rendell has already cooked Philly’s vote count in Hillary’s favor. look for an early night shock in Pa. the anchors will then say BO has no shot without Pa. discouraging votes in the critical western states of Co. NM, and NV.

However, I see some significantly different indicators with the types that are backing Obama.

-Bush wasn't surrounded by thugs, communists and racists that openly stated they would ignore the Constitution when it suited them

-Republicans did not openly encourage and threaten civil unrest prior to the election. It hasn't been just fringe loonies in the street promising riots if BO loses.

-Bush and the Republicans were not planning to institute regulations and laws to restrict the speech and political activities of the Democrats and the left. Reinstating the "fairness doctrine" is an unabashed move to silence disentting opinion. And there is no good reason to assume it will stop there. On the contrary, just the opposite.

-Bush's people did not talk openly about "getting even" with black and libs. These people are doing just that.

Don't kid yourself, this is all about "payback" with these people. I don't have to wear a tinfoil hat to feel their hatred, it's palpable.

Let’s say that the number of actual real Rebuplicans and actual real Democrats who voted consistently again and again before this election cycle are about evenly divided.

Then let’s take the actions of the PUMA’s and others who are awakening to the fact that not only did Hillary get a short stick from Nobama & ACORN, but Democrat or not, they won’t vote for a Communist.
If even 5% of these people move over to the Republican Party-either openly or just in the General Election voting booth- that is a 10% swing.
Hillary gets her Democrat party nomination in 2012, but enough people have moved over to Republican side that Sarah beats her, hands down.

It is a win-win for the whole country.

VOCATIONAL schools for those who definately are not college material.
REMOVE TENURE for teachers..it is the ONLY job in the WORLD that has tenure. NO one else has such a job security-no matter how bad a job they do.

Bring back the Pledge of Allegiance in the schools.
End the lack of dress codein the schools. Uniforms, if necessary.
Kick out the kids in the schools that are gang bangers and trouble causers.
Teach the kids who are not raising Hell.
Put the others into schools operated by ex-military men and do it on the closed military bases.
Let the parents and the teachers discipline kids again. The current crop of little snots know they can call CPS over ANY kind of punishment, especially when they deserve it most.
Put the schools into the same mode they were in 1955.
Teach the basics. NOt condoms on cucumbers.
Math, English, Writing,reading.

The current “graduates of high school cannot even write. they PRINT!! PRINT?? I learned to get past printing when I was in 4th grade or so.
Drama and “feel good” classes are not very helpful for the employer looking for a labor pool when these kids are 18 or so.
Get back to basics!! Yes- I am yelling!!

Support the ROTC in the schools.
End the “diversity” classes about sexuaol preferences. That is up to the PARENTS TO teach their kids.
End SEX EDUCATION. see above- parents job.
Make sure that college students on “athletic scholarships” really are doing their own homework, and

My wife and I were running some errands this afternoon. Something struck me and I mentioned it to her. She had the same reaction. Lots of McCain/Palin signs in yards; very few Obama/Biden signs. Back when I was Republican precinct committeeman, my precinct was almost solid Democrat. Only a handful of Republicans in it. Still registered that way, but I don't see Obama signs the way I saw Kerry signs four years ago. This just doesn't square with the polls.
