As the article states “when the borders are secure”. Does anyone see that happening in the near future? We can fight that battle when the time comes. So, why the uproar, what do you propose, Dont vote McCain/Palin? Yea, stay home and teach them a lesson. Kinda like with congress in 2006. If thats the case, then you have nobody but yourself to blame for pelosi-reid-frank-dodd-obama administration.

It ain't going to happen. If we had wanted the borders secured after 9/11, we would have done so, but Bush and Congress didn't want to until a few Conservatives raised a ruckus back in 2005 and 2006. Even then, the government's efforts have been piss-poor since then. Bush wanted open borders going back to when he was Governor of Texas, and the fact that the borders are nowhere near secured in 2008 tells you how that's going. I expect what's been built will be torn down or ignored under whoever takes office next year.
This is one argument that doesn't need to be fought over, because we lost it already.
