That's why McPalin announced they were going to forego Michigan in favor of Maine. They have 4 electoral votes and they could split 3 for Obama, 1 for McCain. Under your scenario, McCain wins 270-268.
Maine instituted this process in response to Bush/Gore 2000. Wouldn't it be sweet if THAT elected McCain?

I've had the opportunity to drive along the Maine coastline multiple times the last 10 days, and over these trips more and more McCain/Palin signs are sprouting all over Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and even Cumberland county each day. Momentum is in our favor! Will have a look at York county tomorrow.
