Don’t want to be smartarsed but McCain is NOT going to say what his REAL Internal Polls are, If he is ahead he wouldn’t say that because he doesn’t want his voters to get COCKY & COMPLACENT & think it is over & not vote
You have a point. I think he's very encouyraged by his internals that's why he's relishing his 'underdog' status so much. He knows it'll whip his base into action as he struggles to pull ahead.
