Federal authorities are investigating at least 30 letters containing suspicious powder that have been sent to banks in seven cities. The FBI said initial tests on the powder have come up negative for dangerous toxins. Additional tests are ongoing. A law enforcement official said Tuesday the letters were mailed from South Texas to Chase bank branches in or near Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Newark, New Jersey, Oklahoma City and Washington. Postal inspector JoJan Henderson says the letters appear to be related and appear to be from the same source.

Is Amway trying a new marketing scheme??? Free samples???
Oh wait, nothing is free...Only a business expense...dirnit!
Anthrax again?
I thought they would contain a fake note from some supposed crazy right winger about Obama...that way the media could go on endlessly about Obama's victimhood.
At least you don’t have to sit through a business opportunity meeting to get the goods.
Guessing Anthrax would be one of the first substances tested for, and all tests negative so far, so i assume not. Probably nothing.
Here we go again.... guess that poor guy who committed suicide can’t be blamed for this one.
Probably the remains of someone’s investment accounts after the stock and bond markets tanked.
A lone nutcase sending harmless powder(so far), in protest over the recent banking troubles, or a trial run using the aforementioned as an excuse?
You're referring to the sick, demented, POS that sent out the original anthrax letters?
The intended cities/targets alone tells me this is not the evil plans of a really intelligent person/s.
Not that I am ,but come on, I smell copycat.
Well, since he was never tried or convicted, as far as I’m concerned, guilty to proven innocent (proven). Maybe he did it and maybe he didn’t. Sheesh. I guess you are omniscient?
Oops. Thankfully, our laws are “innocent til proven guilty” and not as I said in my response to your post.
I know there was a lot of evidence against the guy but I reserve my opinion because the facts were not all found out in a trial.
Precisely ... and since he did the world (and the U.S. taxpayer) a tremendous favor by ofting himself ... especially after the FBI spent multi-millions dollars pursuing the wrong guy, then paid millions in compensatory damage to the falsely accused. The POS I referred to, and you defend, is all of that and much more ...
I don’t hold the view that suicide is good, regardless, but as I said, no trial, so who really knows. I do think there was a lot of evidence and it did look like it was him but only God knows for sure now.
Plague could get widespread if this power gets on all the money.
