(Crains) The best-funded political campaign in American history says news organizations will have to payin some cases almost $2,000 eachif they want to cover Barack Obamas election-night celebration in Chicago.
A memo sent to news organizations on Tuesday by the Obama campaign says credentials will cost $715 to $1,815, depending on whether electrical and phone lines are needed and whether an indoor or outdoor seat is requested for the event, which is expected to be held outside the evening of Nov. 4 in Grant Park.

Is there any financial aid the media can apply for? Doesn’t Obama have a TRILLION dollars in campaign money? I guess a trillion just does not go as far as it used to.
Just how does one raise one trillion? It’s not easy!
From your lips to God’s ears...
Boy, thats an awful lot of money just to hear a concession speech.
Imagine what he will charge for the Lincoln Bedroom.
Sounds like a great idea! but personally I would prefer being waterboarded! I think sitting in the middle of a NYC Dump will be preferable to being at Grant Park that night with that crowd of Terrorists!
BUT ....Bad luck if He loses...
Would be funny TO see
Consider the irony: Obama and his leftist friends from the Students for a Democratic Society return to celebrate in Grant Park where they staged a riot during the 1968 Democratic Convention!
Everytime Obama takes a lead, he drops his guard and puts his Marxist leanings on display. Will he invite Reverends Pfleger and Wright to the inauguration?
I want to know if anyone has been able to put a dollar value on the slanted polls, media not reporting Biden gaffs, correcting Obama’s poor word choice when interviewed, bestowing the Messiah status on the chosen one, the media implying that the Republican candidates are racists.
What is it worth to a campaign?
300 Million? 500 Million?
This is extortion! Hope they tell him to go pile sand.
