If this were actually true, even the MSM wouldn’t be able to pass it up. Uncovering such information could make a media career the way Watergate made Woodward and Bernstein household names. And don’t give me the “in the tank for Obama” argument ... because MANY of them were in the tank for Clinton during the primaries.
Obama has been vetted by the McCain campaign, the Clinton campaign, all seven or eight DNC primary opponents, the MSM, Fox News, the conservative media (Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, National Review) ... if this were a legit story, SOMEONE would have found SOMETHING.

I disagree. All the democrats took a pass because they knew they would lose the black vote - plain and simple. McCain tried to stay above the fray and until very recently, wouldn't even challenge Obama directly. Since McCain knows the lawsuits have already been filed, it scores him no political points to even broach the subject.
It’s like with Edwards, they all knew but no one dared speak of it until Edwards confessed himself.
