If the Pravda press pulls off an Obama victory, there will be no one left in the justice departments or courts to prevent any more free elections.

This is the hallmark of tyranny, and the precursor to Revolution. Where does the average citizen go for justice when the laws and courts are unjust? Where does he go for protection when the police are thugs? Where does the average citizen go for representation when the government is corrupt? It's the exact predicament our ancestors faced in the late 1700s. They tried everything but nothing changed until the patriots started shooting at people on a bridge in Concord. Better stock up now before The Anointed One rescinds the 2nd Amendment by decree.

New Zealand is run by extreme Leftists who practice enforced political correctness. It will be a Chinese satellite or possession within 20 years.

I am not going ANYWHERE. This is my state and my country. The United States of America has a Constitution. Really: you can look it up. That document establishes a Federal Republic, and describes the responsibilities and limits of each branch of government, the powers of which derive from the People. Among the duties we have as citizens is to insure that our elected representatives do not exceed the authority that WE have granted them. That is a vital and often-overlooked distinction: our rights come from God, not from our government.

Otherwise, please refer to the Declaration of Independence (emphasis is mine):

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

It is popular in some elite circles to imagine the language above - in fact, all the founding documents of our Nation to be quaint relics superseded by history and judicial decisions and thus inapplicable to our present world and state of affairs.

I am not one of them. I take our Liberty seriously, as one who in the fullness of time has come to realize how readily it may be lost in the absence of vigilance, common sense, and good character. Our Founding Fathers knew instinctively what we today must relearn. Freedom is not free; life is our most precious right and the pursuit of happiness its favored course. We have a duty to defend against those who would expropriate the lives, work and property of some for the unearned benefit of others.

I'm staying, and if necessary, I will fight for the same inalienable freedoms for which better men than we once staked their lives, possessions, and sacred honor.

It's my country - not that of the Internationalist Left. Join me.

I wonder how the fairness doctrine would work. Would they have to measure political content? Suppose Rush or someone else talks about the upcoming holiday season. Is that a political subject? Suppose Rush himself invited leftist guests on the show to discuss issues. Wouldn’t that in effect be giving equal time to a differing point of view?

It just seems to me that administering it would be a bureaucrats dream, and our nightmare.

Speaking of freepers moving somewhere, there is a small movement going for libertarians to move to New Hampshire, and run their candidates for office, etc. Eventually they hope to have enough people in the N.H. legislature to pass libertarian friendly laws. A group of conservative Christians wanted to do the same thing in South Carolina.

Wouldn’t that be interesting to see different states of the United States be homes to different social/political/economic viewpoints.

In 2006, the big story of the election season was Mark Foley. Also, George Allen said “macaca”. Both of those stories were used by the MSM to promote the Democrats.

Sadly, I remember...

...And it's also the very reason I despise the MSM, especially due to the fact they are all but suppressing information about 0bama that needs vetting. In 20 odd months, most Americans don't know anymore about this man than they did when he started running, which is a crying shame.

You forgot to mention the International Court of Justice.

Obama will support the United States be bound to its rulings and jurisdiction.

US military personnel charged as “terrorists” before kangaroo courts? No problem.

Republicans arrested overseas and charged for “war crimes”?
No problem.

States like Texas wanting to execute criminals? Not anymore.

Our Constitution overturned because of International Court rulings? That was the plan all along.
