Sarah Palin's bright-eyed daughter Piper melted hearts at a Colorado ice-cream shop as the veep candidate satisfied the girl's sweet tooth during a campaign stop.
The beaming 7-year-old, who came in holding baby brother Trig in his removable car seat, gobbled up a dish of birthday-cake ice cream from the Cold Stone Creamery in Colorado Springs Sunday night.
The Palins - daughter Willow, 14, was there, too - greeted several excited customers and posed for photos.
Palin paid cash for the treats and threw a little extra in the tip jar before retreating to her hotel.
She seems to have an affinity for the popular ice cream chain. Last month, she diverted from the campaign trail in Florida to take her husband, Todd, and their kids to a Cold Stone, where she also opted for birthday cake.

Ohhhhhhh...what a great tale to tell......
I seem to associate “Fox” with the phrase “Stone Cold”. Hey, it fits ;-)
Another nice story about people we can be proud of.
I'm may have to have to regrattably consider Ob...never mind.
Mmmmmmm.........sprinkles.
Or organic broth in a eco-friendly pouch?
Peggy Noonan, K. Parker, et al are going to have another melt-down over the ice cream stop.....””
Did anyone else catch Kathleen Parker on Crissy Mathew’s show Sunday AM?
I sat straight up in bed when at the end of the show in the segment “Tell me Something I Don’t know”, she said MIAMI==MEE-AAH-MEEE. Long “E” on each syllable.
I have never heard that pronumciation before.
Am I wrong?
I thought it was pronounded MI-AM-MEE. Long “I” and Long “E”, and short “A”.Both words accented on the middle syllable.
How can someone who is that much of a writer, talk show celeb, etc make such an error?
Since the show was taped, why didn’t they catch it and retape that comment???
I see a bright future for little Piper! Bet she goes into politics, too.
Of course, with her mom being the VP for 4 years and then President for 8, she may be so neglected she’ll turn to a life of crime. /s
Here's the letter:
Dear Citizens of Colorado,
I have no idea why you're wondering if you should vote for Barak Obama. Do you remember the cost of the extra police and security needed for the democratic convention? Do you remember how the leftists threatened to burn and riot in Denver? How many millions of dollars were wasted trying to keep your beautiful city from burning to the ground because you were gratuitous to extend a welcome to ungrateful people?
Do you remember the American Flags that were thrown in the trash after the convention was over?
I remember all of that and there's nothing that will make me vote against America.
Vote for McCain. A man who honors and protects America, it's cities and states.
Who doesn’t like ice cream ? Everybody should like ice cream.
CBS Early Show June 18, 2008
“Obama’s job as a teenager was at a Baskin Robbins and to this day he does not like ice cream.”
Access Hollywoood, July 9, 2008
“Not too far into the interview, a bored Sasha said, “Mommy, when are we getting ice cream?”
“We’re getting ice cream? Ice cream is my favorite food. I could eat ice cream forever,” Malia said.
“Everybody should like ice cream,” Sasha said.
“Except Daddy. My dad doesn’t like sweets.”
Obama confessed, “I’m not a real sweets guy.”
Noo..the red and white and blue candy sprinkles, not the carmalized nut ones!!!!!
Wink..
“The Palin’s really like their ice cream. This is in Cedarburg last month. After speaking, they shook hands with a few hundred people and then went into the Chocolate Factory for ice cream.”
Maybe it’s because of it’s quality of slightly lowering the body temperature makes them feel more at home.LOL
“Sarah is just such girlfriend!
I wish!
Quite a difference from Michelle Obama's lobster this, lobster that, caviar and champagne snack attack.
Just like Pockeystahhhnn! LOL
