CHARLEROI, Pa. -- U.S. Rep. John Murtha is calling many of the people who put him in office "rednecks."
The news comes one week after Murtha claimed the area is racist, then apologized for that comment.
In explaining his comments about racism, Murtha told WTAE it's difficult for many in the area to change. Murtha said that just five to 10 years ago the entire area was "redneck."

Life will be sweet if Russell beats Murtha and Lou Barletta beats Paul Kaj. Two creep Dems going down. Lou is leading in the polls. I have been contributing to Lou, McCain and RNC.
If Murtha is talking this crap then he and Obama are losing. Or Murtha is rally the base to vote for McCain. I am sure Murtha does not want Obama as pres.

I bet hillary had him say it, knowing that they (PA) will go to McCain, but will (unfortunately) keep him as well. Just thinking out loud.
I’m here in western PA. Murtha has been trying to bait his constituents into thinking that they are dumb or racist unless they vote Obama. I expect he’ll backtrack from his redneck comment just like he did from the racist comment. Not that being redneck is necessarily a bad thing, but he means it as a perjorative. His contempt for his constituents is showing (again). His fellow dems must be hoping he can keep his mouth shut until the election. I no longer try to fathom (as it’s maddening) how he can have such thinly veiled contempt for his constituents, whose lives are far from enriched by his ‘help’ in the area (30 years of job loss and poverty, every growing in the area), and yet they can still show such staunch support for him.
Where’s the beef? I am a happy redneck!

An Open Letter To Obama From Black Republicans
At a fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida, Senator Barack Obama displayed his hypocrisy when he played the race card against Republicans, while whining that he expects Republicans to play the race card against him. This dishonest tactic is straight out of the Democratic Party’s race-baiting political playbook.
Since Obama wants the American people to believe he is disgusted by racism, we call upon Obama to condemn his fellow Democrats for their Jim Crow-style racist attacks against black Republicans because we do not adhere to the Democratic Party’s liberal agenda.

People in western PA will vote for Oprah’s Obama and Murtha no matter how much the pair insults them, for they are hard-core Democrat there. They really believe the Democrat rhetoric.
