Judith Miller??? You have got to be kidding me.
ANOTHER LIBERAL??
maybe she has a feature story on how to spend time in jail while preventing the clearing of a good man’s name?
What a creep she is ... What’s up with FNC? I knwo I quit watching months ago.
All of these people and organizations that have been embraced by conservatives are embarrassed and trying to align themselves with the left. It rarely works. The DUers are going to hate FNC until the end of time, and they’ll just end up losing us. Not that they haven’t already.
They had her at a good price.
Pretty soon, they are going to have to start a *second* FOX News Channel. >Bo)
Doesn’t Fox know she’s vastly underrated for being incompetent?
Shortly after the September 11 terrorist attacks, the U.S. government was considering adding the Holy Land Foundation to a list of organizations with suspected links to terrorism and was planning to search the premises of the organization. The disclosure of this information by a government agent could constitute a violation of criminal law, 18 U.S.C. Sec. 793(d). The information about the impending search was given to Miller by a confidential source. On December 3, 2001, Miller telephoned the Holy Land Foundation for comment before the search took place. The New York Times published an article in the late edition papers and on its website that day. The next day, the government searched HLF's offices. These occurrences led to a lawsuit brought by Patrick Fitzgerald, New York Times v. Gonzales, 459 F.3d 160 (2006).
I feel the same way. I only read Fox News on the net. I don't pay any attention to their competitors. However, Fox's attempts to be “balanced”, actually strike me as not exactly “fair”.
I contend that you don't need to balance the truth with lies and you don't need to balance good with evil. If Fox would just report the truth and only the truth, I believe they would destroy their competitor news channels even more quickly. They don't need the lib commentators. I don't think that the typical Fox audience member cares what Alan Colmes has to say.
Fox.com’s biggest problem is that they need to edit AP stories to be factually correct, and they need to change the headlines to reflect what the story actually says. I realize this is a common lefty trick. The NYTimes does it constantly. They know that most people don't have time to read the articles, so they create phony, misleading, disinformation-style headlines above all the articles, knowing that most people just read the headlines. Fox should negotiate with AP for the right to correct the headlines, as well as any errors in the stories.
Rant/off.
Someone else for O’Riley to have phone sex with.
EXACTLY!! If what FOX reports is the TRUTH, then WHY do we need BALANCE with a LIE???
Geez, don’t they have enough milquetoast contributors like Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, Mort Kondracke, Juan Williams, Mara Liasson, Nina Easton...
eeegads..Judith MILLER?!?! No way!
Oh- I see what they’re up to- last week we found out Glenn Beck is going to FOX- now we have Miller.
Fair and balanced.
pppffftt...
WHAT are they THINKING? (rhetorical)
"Fair and Balanced" is the Fairness Doctrine.
News would be "Factual and True".
Is she really liberal? If so, odd that she was with the Manhattan Institute before this.
Just the news i needed !
