Is Grand Valley in the same general area of CO as Grand Junction?, Sometimes referred to by locals as Happy Valley ... Grand Junction (confluence of the Colorado & Gunnison thus the name) is in Mesa County. Mesa County is the most reliable Republican county in western Colorado.
