Dole was 15-20 points down. Even the worst polls were not that bad for McCain a couple weeks ago.

Dole closed the gap, and if McCain can do so, it is still close enough he can win.

Now, there are reasons to be concerned. Often that last weekend makes it.

If undecideds choose to break for Obama that final weekend, McCain would lose. It could happen. It has happened before.

But, McCain could pull it out, and I think the ad buy here is so massive by Obama that people may be turned off by it.

Anyone who could possibly be "undecided" between McCain and Obama is seriously far too stupid to be entrusted with a vote. Unfortunately, even imbeciles get to pull the lever, eh?
