People do love to believe they are independent minded and invulnerable to such tactics. I know two in particular who like to say they are Independents but they can see nothing positive about McCain/Palin and if they hear anything negative about Obama/Biden they immediately go into extreme defensive mode. There really does seem to be something strange going on here, I thought the same thing with Bill Clinton but this is even worse. At least Clinton had a record of some sort as a governor but Obama has no resume worthy of mention at all. Clinton smiled a lot more and had some degree of humor, Obama looks angry much of the time and has zero sense of humor. I could understand that someone might think they would enjoy having a beer with Clinton but why would anyone think they want to spend two minutes with Barack Obama? I just cannot see it, what am I missing?
