The McCain website finally revealed his Oct. 22 schedule: NH and OH (the latter with Sarah).

The TIPP stuff was very interesting. And I’m telling ya, the same thing is going to happen this year. Like Gore in 2000, McCain is a bit soft with voters who voted Bush four years ago (especially Independent but right-leaning voters, mostly white older voters), while Obama is already maxed out with his demographic groups.

McCain has all but quit doing tv advertising since some time last week.

McCain wrote off Wisconsin last week. RNC, too. I doubt they're doing any more internal polls. That is completely false. As has been pointed out countless times. The RNC stopped WI ads. McCain is still running them through 26 Oct. And his visit to Madison should give pause to any thoughtful observer.

gotta agree ... no way would Obama be in Madison at this stage of the campaign if he were as comfortable as polls would have us believe.

For the week ending Monday, Sen. Obama spent nearly $39 million on TV ads versus about $11.9 million for the McCain campaign, according to ad-tracking data provided by a Democratic official. Wall St Journal
So for many on Free Republic $12 million in one week equals no advertising. Mmmmm hmmmm.

In my opinion, Obama is advertising way too much. It’s annoying. And I’m not annoyed just because I don’t support Obama. There is such a thing as the law of diminished returns, and such a thing as hearing the same damn thing so many times in a row that you tune out.
