What part of TX do you live in. BTW as for energy I have done a lot of research and I thing John Bedini work is creditable.

I'm so upset after what my daughter wrote me I can't sleep. She has contacts that know things. I was responding to Total Package whom I believe lives in Toledo (bad place to be) and wants to move to TX.

I live in flyover country, rather not say where. I never heard of John Bedini, but we are making contingency plans. First things first. Another FReeper has given me some good advice about protecting myself.

Where I am, as long as we have electricity, I can get a generator and run a couple fans and survive the summer heat. It's winter I'm worried about if we have a prolonged power outage such as they suffered in the rural area just outside of town two winters ago. Two weeks, freezing cold, no power.

Do you have a good link where I can find out more about John Bedini? I'm woefully unprepared but have been lurking on a survival forum, amazing the things they know how to do.
