The police will only come out if they can give out a fine or if there is a gun involved. If your car is stolen you have to go downtown to fill out a report because they "don't have the time". However when Toledo city conceal and the mayor passed a smoking band they would send 5 cop cars at a time to a bar to make sure that no one was smoking and give out tickets. They wounder why unemployment is 9.9% here.

Texas sounds like a good plan IF you can stand the heat and humidity if the power goes out (loss of ac). I couldn't take it. They do the smoking ban thing here, too. I had to call the police a few weeks ago, and they were right here with their spotlights (I heard a loud crash not like a car crash like something fell from high up and shots or M80's about a block away). They found a house tp'ed but I never heard anything after that what it was, about 1 AM and I had just gone to bed but not to sleep yet.
Did you see my post higher up? I'm starting to feel really scared of civil unrest and rioting here. We've had an influx of some people from South Chicago and a large crime family from MO. They come here because welfare is better and housing is cheaper. Shootings all the time now.
