Why not argue with what I actually said rather than attempting to ridicule the way in which I said it? Might help your cause more.

And no one who engages in logical thinking actually thinks this country will collapse under Obama. In case you forgot we have this thing called the 2nd Amendment and to hell with whatever the Supreme Court says. Do you honestly think the government could get away with something like the seizure of all guns in the country?

If what I’m doing is pessimism then you’re fear mongering. I’m not going to sit back and let McCain kick conservatives around just because he’s better than the other guy. I’ll fight McCain like hell and I’ll fight Obama even harder.

See this country fail? Again with the fear mongering. One president is not going to drag this country under. If the government raises taxes to an insane amount, jails dissidents, passes Fairness Doctrine-like acts, etc. and the no one puts up a fight or speaks out, then we as a country are already lost; a weak and apathetic citizenry will be the end of this country, not Obama.

I don’t believe it’s that bad. I don’t believe people will just sit by and let the government take more and more. And if the government does you can be sure that the next election cycle they will be kicked out. I don’t believe that we would allow the government to take our guns. I don’t believe we would just let them take conservatives off the airways.

Who’s the pessimist again?

(Do they teach English at your school?)

As a matter of fact, they do.

They also teach logical thinking, rhetoric, and proper manners, none of which you appear to have.

>There isn’t an anti-Republican among you people isn’t content to see this country fail on a large scale.

What are you trying to say here? It doesn’t parse well at all.

>And no one who engages in logical thinking actually thinks this country will collapse under Obama.

I agree with that; so long as the population isn’t apathetic...

>In case you forgot we have this thing called the 2nd Amendment and to hell with whatever the Supreme Court says.

Actually they just said that the police don’t have a responsibility to an individual, but to the society! (This means that we are responsible for our own safety! Egad! Call the government!)

>Do you honestly think the government could get away with something like the seizure of all guns in the country?

There’s a violent portion of me that would like to see them try...

>If what I’m doing is pessimism then you’re fear mongering.

Or self-delusional.

>I’m not going to sit back and let McCain kick conservatives around just because he’s better than the other guy. I’ll fight McCain like hell and I’ll fight Obama even harder.

Great!

>See this country fail? Again with the fear mongering. One president is not going to drag this country under.

Even if it does, there’s still a large number of people sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution from its enemies, both foreign and domestic.

>If the government raises taxes to an insane amount, jails dissidents, passes Fairness Doctrine-like acts, etc. and the no one puts up a fight or speaks out, then we as a country are already lost; a weak and apathetic citizenry will be the end of this country, not Obama.

I covered that already.

>I don’t believe it’s that bad. I don’t believe people will just sit by and let the government take more and more. No? But you know what I WOULD like to see, everybody in ACORN arrested and charged with the felonies they’re guilty of, and treason, if they can “make it stick”. It’s absolutely shameful that they’re not STOMPING on this organization when our fighting men and women overseas have had their votes defrauded them.

>Who’s the pessimist again?

Palpatine!

Lol true. Funny how we can have 2 separate conversations in one thread about the same thing and not really connect till post #185 haha.

Good points BTW.

I accidentally left out the word “who.” It should come after the word “people” and before the contraction “isn’t.”
