Strange irony. Governor Palin is working hard for the Ed’s and the Joe’s of America-—but she’s fighting a global elite (e.g. Colin Powell)that want America to melt into a global community.

I hope they hammer this theme all the way to Nov. 4th. But they need to emphasize the angle to this that its people like Joe and Ed that create jobs. I know they mention it, but I just hope they really hit that. Its not just that Joe shouldn't have to pay more taxes, its that we want Joe to be able to hire more people... which is going to help "spread the wealth" in ways that are healthy for our economy.

Couple of the farmers in this area said they were “Joe the Farmer” and wondered how the E-I-E-I-O factor would effect the election. BRILLIANT! I am Joe the Electrician! I am Joe the Truck Driver! and so on!! Great theme for the grande finale to drive up populist support. I don't know who Joe is, but that guy may have just turned the tide, at least in terms of perceived momentum.
