Also possible that Powell takes Biden seriously when he says the Obama administration will go after the Bush administration for "war crimes."

Joe Biden said that? What the hell?!

Link, please?

That would be the ultimate Left orgasm -- to deliver up a conservative U.S. president to an international, Red, war-crimes "tribunal" (kangaroo court).

And Biden is a former chairman of the Judiciary Committee. Presumably, he knows the Constitution.

Guess the operative word here is "Might". Obama might pursue criminal charges against Bush administration

One wildcard with the threat of criminal probes is to which side would Powell come down on, witness for the prosecution or defense?

Race is a too simplistic answer for the people operating at these levels. For them, it’s all about the power (control) and money.

Could he have once again been called upon to be the good soldier and word as the ambassador between the old and new regime?

Who stands to lose and needs Powell either in the loop with the new regime on point?

Who stands to lose money or more importantly, who with money needs to curry favor with the new regime and can make use of Powell?

Here's one...and I must own up to a technical error in referring to "war crimes" (I was posting strictly from memory, rather than citing him word-for-word).

So, my apologies for shooting from the hip.

Having said that, I don't think there's much of a distinction, be it war crimes or constitutional "violations." Either way it's quite chilling, and I'm surmising what's said in a campaign is only a morsel of what we'll see once they actually have the power.

The Dems started criminalizing policy back during the Nixon years, and with an Obama presidency and unbridled congress, we can only expect a full-blown assault, criminal and otherwise, on their only credible opposition.
