Just showed downtown Toledo on our local station. People are already lining up for McCain!
Hopefully Joe will make it back from NY where he was on Fox this am and last night with Huck.

I thought its quote of what Joe said about it being scary to be in his position said a lot. I thought it said you have to agree with the MSM’s template or they go after you. Remember how they treated John Edwards? He basically got a pass on his mistress and baby. “Joe the plumber,” an ordinary American, has the temerity to ask Obama, the ONE, a question on his tax policy, and the MSM goes after him as if he were an enemy of the people. Joe just happened to live in a neighborhood that Obama decided to campaign in; he wasn't a plant at a rally. I have to side with Joe. The thugocracy is coming if Obama wins. And that's what Joe pointed out.

Indeed. I'd expect this in a one-party state, not the land I've loved my whole life, not the free country that's always inspired the world. The amount of group think in the media and the way they've played partisan politics for Obama has been shocking. I'm surprised they don't give Joe's address out and invite some thugs over to rough him up, like in Cuba.

You are next. And so am I. And so is any drone who dares to question motives of the Collective.
Justice Alito's comments on the second amendment may well prove to be prophetic.

Professing fear is not the same as stinking back.
Striking back would be to challenge big media to vet Obama with the same vigor as they are vetting a private citizen who dared to ask a powerful politician a question.

You’ve made a good point. And, I guess if the media comes after you the way they’ve gone after Joe, you’ll do a better job than he has.

We are next. Yeah, if "The One" is elected, be prepared to have to walk around with pink elephants sewn to our jackets.

It may come to that. When Obama ascends to the Presidency, the thuggery and suppression will seep into every corner of government, the courts, the law enforcement agencies, the military. They will brook no dissent from the little people. And where does a little person go for justice when the courts are unjust, where does he go for protection when the police are corrupt, where does he go for representation when the government is tainted? He's on his own, clinging to his faith and whatever weapon he has to protect himself.
This incident may have tipped me into finally becoming an owner of a firearm. I have avoided it for concerns about family (children) safety, but the local gun shop is offering again it's course in firearm safety. Might not be a bad precautionary investment, I'm thinking.

I’m not criticizing Joe, I’m criticizing the article that falsely makes the guy look like a bowl of jello. He’s not.

I think there might be a huge backlash against the media for their full, 100% backing of Obomber. And their unseemly snooping into the family life of Governor Palin. Like how would they like it if private detectives would snoop into the lives of Wolf Blitzer and hos wife Lynn and their daughter llana? Or how would MSN react to detectives and media snoops looking into the private lives of Chrissie Matthews and his wife Kathleen and their children Michael, Thomas and Caroline.

As someone else suggested, he should have asked the media to give Obama the same vetting.

Joe the Plumber has found out what happens to people who dare question the liberal authorities. They illegally look into your records, they send the media to harass you, they write critical columns and editorials about you, they try to destroy your reputation and your livelihood.
This sends a message to other people that they had better not defy the liberal authorities.
This is fascism as practiced by today’s democrats.

I think that there will be a huge backlash against the Angry Left MSM. We know how to hire detectives also.

It's like in Godfather I when the Corleone family wanted to smear a dirty cop. They got their press sources to go after him. Here, the guys not dirty (Joe, I mean) but he's stepped out of line. He asked a tough question of The ONE when The ONE came to his neighborhood. Of course, the Corleones paid for their media support. Luckily for Obama, he can rely on his fellow travelers who are just as keen on taking us to a place where the rights of mere plumbers and other ordinary citizens mean nothing next to the right to an abortion, the rights of Saddam Hussein, and the rights of Iran to have nuclear weapons are far more important than poor ol' Joe's. WE're headed toward Kenyan style democracy, and our press is cheering it on.

"The media's worried about whether I've paid my taxes, they're worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America," Wurzelbacher told the former Republican presidential hopeful on his show, "Huckabee." Taxes not paid? Use the same excuse that Rep. Charlie Rangel did, "I forgot." Trouble with your driver's license? May I introduce you to Rep. Patrick Kennedy. Your name "isn't really Joe"? I'll be Rep. Montgomery's name isn't really Sonny. Difficulty with a marriage? I present _Democrat MOC Here_ for your consideration.
You are absolutely correct, Joe, what the lamestream has done to you for making use of the opportunity 0bama presented you is silly, wrong, scary.
Wurzelbacher said he felt terrible after reading some of the criticism of himself posted online.
"I felt about that small," he said. "I mean I really did."
Joe, to those of us who still believe in the goodness and greatness of America, you are THIS BIG. Thank you.
I AM JOE THE PLUMBER.

Has Chris Matthews paid all his taxes? Has Wolf Blitzer? We have a right to know!
