Good. That’s $100k less air time for Obama, and every minute of Ellen DeGeneres will only scare off undecided-but-pro-family voters anyway.

Whatever happened to the correct word, "comedienne"?

DeGeneres can spend her dough any way she likes. But there is no "right" to homosexual "marriage".

Everyone has a right to marry (except for people who are impaired in their rights legally). It's just that the definition of marriage is very heterosexual and heteronormative, always has been.

This whole campaign is just a big exercise in "queering", which is a form of attack on the rest of society calculated to damage and derange it enough that it can't exercise its normative, corrective functions w/ respect to sexual conduct.

It's hostile and hateful, IOW.

I am in Central California and I have not seen or heard a single anti-Prop 8 ad on TV or radio. Not ONE. I have seen and heard NUMEROUS pro-Prop 8 ads. I did see a few students waving “NO on 8” signs in Stockton last weekend. Nobody was honking their horn in agreement.

Ellen buys $100,000 TV time to support gay marriage

Ellen's enthusiasm for gay marriage may wane after Portia tells her that she wants a divorce because she's fallen in love with a guy.

For some reason, I think Ellen’s purchase is going to hel[p the pro-prop 8 side.

$100,000? What will that buy you in California? A 2-second commercial? LOL!

Oh, please. I guess she thinks her words are important just because she has a lame tv show. Hey, Ellen, you might try those phony tears again even though they didn’t work the first time.
