After watching "Saturday Night Live" make fun of her from afar, Sarah Palin witnessed it first hand this week as Tina Fey engaged in fiction by depicting her at the news conference the Republican vice presidential nominee has yet to hold.
Later, Palin came on stage during the Weekend Update mock news segment and bobbed to the beat as cast member Amy Poehler performed a rap song the Alaska governor decided was too hardcore for her to perform personally.
"I'm Jeremiah Wright 'cuz I'm the preacher; I got a bookish look and you're all hot for teacher," Poehler rapped as actors dressed as Eskimos, Palin's husband, Todd, and a caribou pranced across the stage.

I didnt think undue anger was displayed on SNL I was thinking of the general anger in firestorm that is the left.
But the subtext of SNL is that Palin had come to the Lions den, much as McCaine was hilarious in front of the left wing media.
I guess its all to be expected but I truly wonder what happens culturally if Obama loses (which he should)
Bump for the morning
Let’s make Joe the Plumber Secretary of Treasury.
I keep wondering why SNL, David Letterman, etc. make a difference.
She did a good job. For what it was.
Rock on Sarah!
You say 0bama, I say Ayers...0bama! Ayers! Obama! Ayers!
bumping the link!
BTW, I think to go along with the “Rove You Magnificent Bastard” tag (RYMB), there should be a new one - TYFFD (Todd, You Fortunate First Dude)!

Stephen is my favorite Baldwin.
“There is humor and there is disrespect.”
Correct. Sums up well both of the SNL Sarah skits tonight.
She might gain a few new fans for sitting there taking abuse, but SNL definitely showed as much disrespect for her as they were able to get away with in her presence.
I hope this was her one and only visit. She did well to maintain her dignity through it all.
I thought both the sections she was on were outstanding!
The moose part made my wife and I laugh HARD.
I’m also glad she got to say the opening tag...done just the way it’s supposed to be done.
Bra-vo, Sarah, Bra-vo....
Phooey! I DVR’d the beginning then stopped cuz I had no idea she would be back on. Bummer!
I thought the rap skit was hilarious! The guy who played Todd pointing to Alaska on the map again and again was priceless. I think both skits will go over well with the public and they’ll probably get a lot of airtime on tv shows. She only helped herself tonight.
I read the comments after watching the video. Those people can’t tell a TV show from reality. They are so jealous its pathetic. Sarah got loud cheers and the Huffies were betting she got booed. Idiots.
Good grief. It’s on now on the west coast.
Anyone who watches this show is too stupid to vote.
The only part that bothered me was when Baldwin took her arm. It made me nauseous. Although I think he seemed flustered and almost lost it there. I’m very proud that she said Stephen was her favorite Baldwin.
I still voted for McCain and I think things can get better.
It was very funny.
The huffingtonpost has a link to the videos.

Saw it on the news here in Oz - she came off very well and the crowd seemed to love her. Man is she gorgeous!
