Putting our income in, it shows that we’d get more of a cut under Obama. Even if that’s true, it’s beside the point. The point is that we don’t want to take more taxes from those persons who actually create jobs (i.e., small businesses) and the ones that create the most jobs are those in the $250k plus range. It’s an economic issue, not a personal issue, though most people will look at these numbers.

It is interesting, however, that retirees will do worse under Obama. That’s very significant and something that needs to be looked into.

That said, these sorts of things are basically wild guesses. The President doesn’t set tax policy, Congress does. I expect that even Obama’s plan will look much, much worse when the Dem congress gets ahold of it, as will McCain’s.

I agree, his allegation that NOONE making under 250K will pay more taxes is a boldface lie. I checked a single senior making $75K. Result: $683 more under Obama, $767 less under McCain. And, believe me, I think his plan is a laughable farce, and a slap in the face to many Americans.
