Possibly. But voters don’t reregister at the time they get angry with a party. They reregister when there is a primary election - as there was during the time the +9 jump in Democrat affiliation happened. That explains the big jump in party switches much better than a vague conspiracy theory.

Karl Rove made a good point about that SeeSharp, he mentioned that looking at the numbers, the real growth in Democrat Registrations happened this Spring.

To me, that happened based on a number of things, such as two Democrat “core” Groups had a candidate to vote for, Obama or Hillary, one lost that will by it’s nature lead to PUMA’s and what have you.

Secondly, Rush’s Operation Chaos was in effect at the END of the Democrat Primaries, meaning if someone could graph the Democrat Registrations after “Super Tuesday II” when Rush started OP Chaos, especially in the generally Red States, we would have a much better idea of what is going on, and where the truth of the matter is.

Especially in places like IN and PA.
