If you go and talk to all the dems you know, you find a huge number are not voting or voting McCain. I have never seen this before. He only has 3 dems I know voting for him out of all the dems I know who voted Clinton, Gore and Kerry. He does not have his base in flyover country and is relying on the youth vote, and voter fraud to win. That is if he can make up the votes in his base he lost.
Those that need to rely on the youth vote are called losers.
That’s interesting, and I think reflects how very different things can be depending what part of the country you’re in. I notice you’re in the south, and you say you know lots of D’s not voting D this year, and possibly, I’m guessing, that’s because of their values, maybe they are Christians, or family-oriented folks, maybe also a strong sense of property rights.
Now, contrast that to where I am, Oregon. The place is a sea of Obama stickers and lawn signs. Those who dare to put a McCain sticker on their car have tires slashed or paint keyed. And I’m talking in a fairly “upscale” neighborhood.
Oregon’s known as “the most un-churched state” in the nation, leftists, gays, environmentalists, pagans and wiccans dominate everywhere. It’s worse than California, because people here are much less educated too and you simply cannot reason with them. They are rabid about Obama, the “messiah” complex thing is obvious.
This place is so far left, even the Evangelicals and Catholics are split 50/50 Obama/McCain. For Evangelicals to go for a Muslim socialist pro-abortionist is pretty darn weird. I almost wonder if there is “black magic” involved... oh, pardon that racist pun!
