BIG Bump to that!
Little Murders [Bishop Chaput Slams Obama on Abortion & Blasts Kmiec for Misleading Catholics]
It takes a willing suspension of logic and critical thinking by Douglas Kmiec and his ilk to support Obama.
The next thread is linked to a long pdf article. It's hard to read its dissection of O's speeches with his style and its odd construction and not think that mass hypnosis is at least a plausible explanation for all of his apparently mindless followers. BTW, NLP stands for neurolinguistic programming.
An Examination of Obamas Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches

"I'm A Bitter Gun Owner And I Vote!" Yard Signs
Some noteworthy articles about politics, foreign and military affairs, IMHO, FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.
I am very happy you pinged me to this missive and I only wish I could write .01% so eloquently...
From the same source, with the same title?
thanks neverdem.

Me, too!
Too late; he's declared himself on the side of anthropogenic global warming and has made it part of his campaign.
He's going to offer federal solutions to natural variations in climate.
It would be a big reversal for him to state what most of us see as the truth about climate.
Thank you.
Can he write or what? The benefits of a REAL public school education...
I think he published untimely, though. McCain doesn’t have time for this until after the election.
Thanks for the ping!
Don't be too sure of that. One of the college kids who summer-interned at my office ended up at the White House a few years later. Information does travel up the pyramid. It has to go through channels, of course - CKSI couldn't just walk in to the Oval Office and say, "Hey, Dubya, take a look at this" - what happens is, CKSI picks the coolest paragraph out of the article and quotes it verbatim, attaches a summary of the rest of the article and a link to the original, and gives it to his boss, with a strong recommendation that the boss read it and consider passing it up the chain. That's why credibility and reputation are so important - if the boss knows that CKSI is a serious and trustworthy person, he'll at least take a look.
This particular CKSI will be gone with the current administration, of course, but new ones are always arriving.
In the same vein of credibility and reputation, a few years ago I disregarded an ad on our in-house EBB to buy a car, because I knew what condition the secretary selling it kept her computer and cubicle in. It turned out she had put the ad in for her boss, who I WOULD have bought the car from, but someone else got there first.
A little much alliteration in some of the paragraphs. I do that sometimes when I’ve had a little potation ...
Vaclav Klaus is another impressive writer and speaker on this subject.

I agree. He writes beautifully. Anyone who can use the word “insouciantly” as if it were an everyday word has my admiration.
LOL. You are not going to believe this but that was the only word I looked up to see the meaning...
“extravagantly-pointless, climatically-irrelevant, strategically-fatal economic wounds that the arrogant advocates of atmospheric alarmism admit they aim to achieve. “
I wish I could write like this.
LOL, you’re an honest FReeper so of course I believe you.
