Something Happened? All N. Korean Diplomatic Missions Ordered to be on Stand-by
N. Korea's diplomatic missions all over the world were ordered on Oct. 17 to stay at their mission, refraining from going out, and expect important announcement from their government.
Sources explained they expect that official announcement could be made in a few days. They speculate that it is related to inter-Korean relationship or Kim Jong-il's health.

It is interesting to feel your own reaction as a civilian when you can remember how you felt as a GI when news like this broke.

Things on the Korean Peninsula may get very crazy soon. ROK would have to be worried about a possible sudden North Korean collapse.

Better still, the Chia Pet invites Obama to move to North Korea to be his annointed successor!
After all, the Chia Pet believes his own propaganda that North Korea with his “juche” philosophy is the greatest country in the whole friggin’ world..... so why wouldn’t he expect the Obamessiah to feel honored at the invitation to come and rule North Korea.
I’d call that a win/win scenario for us and for the North Koreans, if only Obamessiah could be persuaded that he’d enjoy being a cult figure more in such a totally closed society.

That would be good. Perhaps North Korea will have one of those really nice parades so we can see a glimpse of the United States of Obama.
