Did he actually endorse Obama, or just say he is going to vote for him?

That’sthe info I have, I’d like to see an actual quote of his endorsement if that is what he did

Did he say, “I endorse Obama?” No. But as you say, he said he would be voting for him, and gave detailed reasons why he would do so.

To me, going on national TV to announce “I endorse Obama” versus announcing “I will vote for Obama” is a distinction without a difference. Fox, CNN, and others are specifically using the word “endorses,” and I can’t imagine any difference in effect or in intent because of the specific words he chose.

From CNN: “Obama called Powell earlier Sunday and thanked him for his endorsement, communications director Robert Gibbs said.”
