Reminds me of watching the telly last night.
Nightline comes on and has to do a segment about meanspirited ads that lack truth.
They gave 3 examples
ex 1 : McCain ad referring to statements Obama made about national security, terrorism - how safe we are.
100% true. Not one lie.
ex 2: McCain ad concerning Ayers.
100% true. Not one lie.
ex 3: McCain ad concerning Obama’s position on the Born Alive Infants’ Protection Act.
100% true. Not one lie.
It must be they could not manage to come up with one misleading ad from the Obama campaign as they did not provide ANY Obama ads as examples.
They didn’t include the McCain doesn’t do e-mail ad.
They didn’t include McCain thinks you’re not rich until you’ve made $4 million ad either.
Nope - just 3 perfectly accurate McCain ads.
Once again I found myself sputtering and cursing the TV - with my teenage boy giving me that “look” again - like his poor mother has lost it.
