This is the perfect example of why Obama’s plan should NOT be implemented. Why should my husband or I carry family coverage when we could possibly get a handout from the gov’t?
Same thing is going to happen with Obummer’s “healthcare plan.” If you give something away for “free,” you’ll always run out of it very quickly.
Hawaii should shore up their Birth Certificate division. Apparently, there are folks who can get a Certificate of Live Birth, but according to them, they are unable to obtain a birth certificate.
Seems most Gov’t bureacrats are utter dimwits.
Here in NY, The State has started offering “Child Health Plus” at $0-$100/month, depending on income. The less income one has (or in fact, the more income one can hide) the better the package, actually. Medicaid is the best of all - everything free - dental, counseling, etc...
Meanwhile, the “private” (basically highly Gov’t regulated private companies) are charging $300+/month.
Which way would you go?
