Network news executives said they are preparing for an unusual Election Night challenge: How to be honest with the audience, and still keep them tuned in, if the race between John McCain and Barack Obama is effectively decided before most Americans have finished dinner. --------------------------------------------------------

Politico has really gone down the toilet in the last month or so..

Will they send the “President Obama” books and gear down to South America the way they do with Super Bowl losers’ paraphernalia?

Actually I think most of that goes to Africa ... Kenya to be exact. Ohhh the irony....

I don’t think that will be the case, though I do admit that is the fear I hold in the deepest pit of my stomach. An 0bama win of Reagan-1980 proportions (i.e. mandate + coattails) will change this country in ways I just don’t like to think about.

All the more reason we have to fight for every available vote between now and Election Day - and beyond, if fraud does indeed take Ohio or other close states.

Politico endorsing Obama?

Politico has been drooling all over Obama ever since the primaries.

Aren’t they nothing more than a blog-arm of the Washington Post? That is where the people who started it came from at least.... they have been terribly in the tank for Obama.

Owl,

I'm going on a limb and saying McCain takes New York and New Jersey too along with N.H. & Maine.

I’d say NJ, NH and Maine, NY, probably not a chance, thats deep blue territory, they’d raise the titanic there if it got more votes.

The problem will be out West. With the MSM in Obamas pocket, these jerks’ll call an East Coast state for Obama before the polls even close there... which will affect the West turnout. Pubbies need to get their vote out!!

Obama does look like he’s going to win, but it would wonderful to see the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the liberals if he doesn’t!

They will declare a landslide for Obama shortly after Dixville Notch polls close.

personally, i think the bradley effect will be way bigger than people imagine. The Dem primaries are different from the GE, i just think its feasible that there is a bigger bradley than we think.

I you notice whenever one of these MSM outlets talks about the election they bring everything back to polls. Polls not votes. Polls of a couple hundred or thousand people. Polls often times with a higher Dem %. Polls to fit their our agenda. These guys could care less about reality, but are in for a big reality check on election night. I sense the silent majority stirring.
