I agree. If McCain takes Pennsylvania, NC and Virginia early, it’s over.

Politico is becoming the new Scrappleface.
Except they believe their own bullshit.
To: DrHannibalLecter
when you want to temper down your opponents enthusiasm, then you want to depress their turnout, they did the same in 2004.
They had Kerry way up , was calling him Mr President by election morning.
Its fear tactics, what it might do is push out republican turnout higher.
Keep telling everyone, this election is not over until we say it is, and the more the media says its over, the more pissed off people will become. Remember they did this to Hillary for 5 months, every Primary, oh its over and everytime they did, Hillary won again and again.
So dont believe the bullshi^, get out and fight, if it was so over, then why would they bother making a point it was,and why would Obama be campaigning like a whore at a convention.

I truly hope the American populous has not gotten that stupid ... if we have we might as well give it up as we would no longer deserve self rule

Remember what they are trying to do...
Obama has to have a trifecta to win (voter fraud (which he has), Republicans staying home and the Hillary vote). The media is trying to do perception is reality. It is the oldest marketing strategy in the book (trust me, I am in marketing).
The only way Obama wins is if we get discouraged and stay home. When conservatives stay home, Dems win. They know this but wont share that with you because they dont want us to show up to the polls. Why do you think they are attacking Palin so badly? Because they thought they had this election in the bag by picking McCain. When Palin came on she stirred the Republican base. In the history of Presidential elections there has never been a VP candidate that has been attacked so viciously and been in the news so much. If conservatives show up to vote we win and win BIG.

I have been predicting a call for McCain by 10pm Pacific time. Sorry Politico.
Let's see how far off base I am. I don't think it will be by much.
The FReepathon Challenge has been extended to 10/20/08 12:01am. (I wasn't able to focus and push the effort like I wanted to by the 15th. Let's go for it.)

Hey, we're almost done with this quarter's FReepathon. The goal will be reached within a few days.
We have extended the FReepathon Challenge. It's a way for you to donate and get some of your funds matched. Those who have volunteered to become a Charter Member of the FReepathon Challenge, will pay a certain amount if certain levels are reached. Read about it at the link.
If you would like your donation to be augmented for the benefit of retiring the FReepathon more quickly, join in the FReepathon Challenge by clicking on the right part of the above graphic.
We'd love to have you join as a charter member too, if you'd like.
If you wouldn't care to be a part of the FReepathon Challenge, but you'd just like to chip in to help retire the FReepathon more quickly, please click on the left part of the above graphic.
Happy trails FReepers...

Politico and HuffPoop are becoming one and the same.
Unbelievable how they let liberal druggies run that place now.
To: DrHannibalLecter
We are going to get this 150% now. Calls of its over, its over. Don’t let it get you down people. I think what they will do is have the polls close for a bit to try to scare people on Obama’s side that McCain could take it and then show Obama slipping away with a double digit lead.
To: DrHannibalLecter
Politico endorsing Obama?
Looks that way to me.
To: DrHannibalLecter
That does it! Not anymore reason for me to go vote since it’s all over. /sarc
