Good news poll. It has been posted a few times before, though.

I think...we actually have a race here. And I have been extremely skeptical about Mac’s chances for 2 weeks. This could get exciting and interesting very fast!!!!
I wish McCain would speak at every rally the way he did at that dinner last night. McCain made me laugh out loud.

That's an improvement from having bad news polls posted multiple times!
The irony here, IMO, is that the polls always seem to be off by about 3-5 points in favor of dems all the way up to actually voting time.
Then there is a huge head scratching period while the MSM tries to figure out why their numbers were off.
I am comfortable with McCain at 0 to 3% under going into the booth.
I am uncomfortable by the potential 500,000 extra fradulent liberal voters that seem to be restered this year.
I don’t know if I can handle another election hinging on the effectiveness of the lib’s ‘get-the-fraudulent-vote-out’ effort.
Good news. Hopefully we can see the state poll numbers in Virginia and Colorado turn out way. Looking at the electoral math, we pretty much have to win both of those states, assuming Obama wins the Kerry states plus Iowa. I think Obama has the Virginia federal workers looking to keep sucking on the government teat and Colorado has a lot of California transplants and hispanics.
Adjusting for reality, McCain 52 - Obama 47.
Obama doesn’t even have his own party’s base behind him. How many people who voted Bush in ‘04 are going to line up with Obama this year? I don’t see that big of a shift.
I do see a shift between working class Democrats who were willing to vote for Kerry in ‘04 but who won’t go for the metro messiah in ‘08.
Maybe black and youth turnout will be up a little, but I think the youth vote thing is overdone. Every election we hear about how the “youth” are so motivated because so many entertainers have endorsed the liberal candidate and it always seems to peter out. One can imagine the Obama youth playing some video games in their dorm rooms, you know, the ones the campaign put ads in, on election day and not even bothering to vote.
The Dems picked a candidate who is perfect for attracting liberal white voters. Genius.

OTOH Obama’s underlying anger could be felt in the jabs he made at McCain.

If McCain actually is even or leads slightly against Obama in these polls that over sample dems?....
