I tried to cash a $1,500,000 check from the Minister of Finance of Kenya and the bank teller demanded a photo ID. I was so intimidated, I left the bank.
Voter intimidation is REAL, I tell you!
Can anyone cash it for me? I give you 10% cashing fee.
In advertising, the “Catch Phrase” is all important to the message (product). Most people don’t read (or listen to) much of the text. My theory is that libs won’t hear the facts of an issue if your argument is more than two or three sentences in length. It’s a tough thing to do, but I’ve been making attempts to bring the relevant info up to the top and to shorten my dialogue. Perhaps with more frequent applications of the KISS theory, it could result more data breaking through their shield. (I tried this on an ‘undecided’ this week.. and made ONE convert!)
Obama reminds me of those Nigerian Scam Letters, except much more dangerous.

You have a very valid point. I made a huge mistake in forgetting my smiley face and /sarc. As I have explained to heatherlund, I thought the humor in my post would be self evident. I guess with so much at stake, we’re all a little tightly wound and things are easily misunderstood.
You were quick to make yourself clear, as the good FReeper that you are.
I see this snottiness a lot and most others do not apologize or soften their comments. I always cringe and hope that it doesn’t drive away a new soldier in the fight.
