NOTE: If an individual wants to obtain more than one trade license, they must retake and pass the Business and Law Exam for each trade added to their license.

Once exams have been passed, in addition to the $25.00 license fee, individuals must also send proof of $500,000 minimum contractor liability insurance, listing the actual policy number, to the O.C.I.E.B.

References:
Only the 2006 International Fuel Gas Code and the 2007 Ohio Plumbing Code are allowed into the examination.
The Mathematics for Plumbers & Pipefitters and the Modern Plumbing books are used in the class tot prepare for the exam. Students should be familiar with the information contained in both of the references NOT allowed into the examination.

So in order to GET a license one must work 5 years WITHOUT that license to qualify to take the test FOR the license.

Somebody posted yesterday that the issue was that he had far exceeded the 5 year apprenticeship without taking the final test, and that is their issue. The gov’t no doubt wants their bucks for him becoming a journeyman, if that’s the issue.

Obama hasn’t proven he is a citizen and eligible to be president. Yet the thugs (media and union) go after the plumber and threaten his livelihood because he doesn’t have a piece of paper with the proper signatures. Even though it appears it is not a requirement for his job.

The proof of citizenship IS a requirement for the president. It’s in our fricken constitution.

Can you imagine the cost of plumbing for a new home if you had to hire 5 licensed plumblers, not one license plumber and 4 helpers?
