Can we identify this "staff person"?
I am quite sure that no "staff person" is authorized to speak about licensing issues of a private citizen on behalf of the City of Toledo. Departments issue directives and not "staff persons".
Since no official spokesperson for the City of Toledo has come out and denounced this "staff person" I think Joe the Plumber may be able to pay cash for that business before this episode is over.
Are there any Tort lawyers in Toledo that want 33% of a slam dunk invasion of privacy and intentional interference in prospective business advantage lawsuit?
If this kind of thing doesn't show all Americans who the enemy is what will?

Joe W. didn't do anything wrong. He asked a question that exposed bambi for the socialist he is. Now Joe W. is being hassled by the local "powers that be" and his employment is being threatened. Is this really the type of nation we want?

Yeah, this was a scam. Joe can work just fine as an employee under his current boss's license. If/when he buys the company, THEN he will need his own license, which he is currently studying for (a Master Plumber's license). Joe hasn't done a thing wrong, and it is amazing that the media will camp out in front of his house for asking one question, yet give William Ayers a virtual pass.
