Yes, I am one of those people — but it wasn’t a person or group I openly criticized, it was the company’s new and highly inferior mandatory health insurance plan they foisted off on all employees. I was fired, but was given a generous settlement and granted unemployment benefits — unusual for someone who is fired for “insubordination.” I went against “the plan” and was vocal about it. That’s all it took!

This is why NO candidate bumper stickers go on my car. I live in Las Vegas, and I am afraid for my car as well as my personal safety.
However, I did not feel that way in 2004. The thugs surrounding THE ZERO (white or black) scare me.
I don't have any problem telling people I wouldn't vote for THE ZERO even if he was Red, White and Star-Spangled Blue.

I guess I am a slow learner. I have no intention, now that I can use my age as a weapon, to shut up and let a bunch of jackbooted snotnoses run roughshod over me--and they won't, not unless I run out of ammo.
I don't give a d@mn what color they are, what god they claim to worship, what country their grandaddy came from, so it isn't anything to do with race--and I won't let them brand me that way either.
Either we have the stones to stand up and fight when words will do, or we will live in slavery or pay in blood not to.
