Comments of a KGB defector
(Excerpt) Read more at canadafreepress.com ...
Yup, no place to defect. And what does that mean? It means stop running and take a stand. Its liberty or death. Anyone worth a damn will choose liberty without even giving it a second thought.
Can you provide a direct link to the article. I went to the web page but did not see the article in your headline. Thanks.
Well said.
Bump for tomorrow
Sorry, I can’t copy and paste it. It’s a video. It’s toward the bottom of the “video” column in the center of the page. Maybe this will do it. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x32cxf_yuri-bezmenov
We’re ready.
In the old days, there used to be FReepers with the literary ability to render summaries of vid clips into prose for us handicapped by dial-up. At any rate, I’m glad you enjoyed the movie.
Man oh man...that interview will scare the crap out of any thinking American...FR folks should all watch this....wow.
Many thanks to the canadafreepress... their more “American” then many of our fellow “Americans” these days
“Anyone worth a damn will choose liberty without even giving it a second thought.”
Of course they will, but what do you do when over half of the country chooses Marxism over Capitalism?
As long as that much of the populace is so stupid, I prefer to stay away.
There are plenty of countries where I can have a nice life for a FRACTION of what life in the US cost now.
There is no way I want to be in the US under Hussein.
I seem to remember a rumor going around a couple of years back about President Bush buying 800,000 acres of land in Paraguay...
Whatever comes, Team Chan will ride it out here in Texas. This is a good state full of good people. With God’s help, we will survive and thrive no matter what the bastards throw at us.
Watch this video... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x32cxf_yuri-bezmenov
bump...people need to watch this.
the Soviet Union is gone and they’re not going back. Know why? because the only people who could make communism work, the smart people, left years ago and are not coming back.
So who will take over America? The homeschoolers, the people who were smart enough not to get into debt, the producers, those with faith. Obama’s supporters will suffer the most under an Obama admin. We’ll be able to take care of ourselves and our families.
The actual story, as related here, is quite a bit more complicated, and although there was a massacre it did not happen in one night or in anything like one night. The most important thing about the story, though, is that the outcome would have been a lot different if the population had been allowed to protect itself by a right to bear arms.
The strategy Mr. Bezmenov describes is one in which, after an invasion by Soviet-trained communists, the population of a region or a country is entirely decapitated, with virtually every single person of any intelligence or with the capacity to think independently, is rounded up and liquidated before anyone can think to fight back. As horrible and effective as this sounds, I don't think it's practical, either in the tactical sense that it could actually be carried out without a counter-action on the part of the population, or in the strategic sense. The population that would be left after such an action would consist entirely of "sheep." In a culture whose wealth is tied up in technical infrastructure (certainly not the case of Hue in 1968) the region's economy and physical asset base would collapse if the only survivors of the purge were the proles. Without the intelligent people, there would be nothing worth conquering.
Underlying it all is the power of our magnificent Second Amendment, the ultimate guarantee of our freedom and the inspiration behind my new tagline. The more I thought about Mr. Bezmenov's story, the less worried I was about it. I'm not saying it won't be tried again as it was in Hue, somewhere in the world, maybe even here, and the results will be horrible, but the idea that it could be used to decapitate the entire American nation is hard to take seriously.
