I watched it live on CSPAN. McC was great, BO was quite good.
It’s an old NYC tradition, a “must appear” annual event for all New York politicians and every four years, the Presidential candidates. Speeches are always humorous. BO spoiled his by injecting some bloviating at the end, blah blahing about the need to help those less fortunate etc etc. Up to then he was okay. (His funniest line: My real middle name is actually “Steve”.)
Did you notice that even with two or three jokes about his middle name, That One never acutally said what it was?
