The messiah bombed big time, although Perky Katie Couric smiled approvingly for her guy in the background.Did you see her face after Obama's speech was over? She was having more than a tingle.

Your impression was exactly my impression. I don’t get the feeling that Mr. and Mrs. Obama have very good senses of humor.

Check McCain out on SNL as a creepy husband. The fake hair makes me laugh. I wish they had the whole skit on YouTube, but it’s shown as an excerpt with Chris Matthews and a panel:

Not many liberals do... case in point: Keith Olberman.

Speaking of Katie... Drudge pointed out she has a Sarah Palin hairdo tonight.

I noticed in closing McCain complimented Obama.. Obama pointedly did not return the compliment.
To: truthandlife
He made some great jabs with good humor, Bush has done the same thing to the press and others and while funny it always came across a bit edgy.... McCain was much more natural IMHO... whodathunkit...

Isn’t he with #41 down in Texas right now?

What on earth is going on? I get the feeling that this is just one big continuous cocktail party for all the power brokers. The country is going to ____ in a hand basket so let’s all put on our tuxes and tell a few jokes? It’s like Foster Brook’s roasting Dean Martin? I can’t take any of them very seriously after seeing this.

It was a Carholic Charity fundraiser. This didn’t cost you or me.... and frankly, I hope this gets a lot of play, McCain was very funny. Even when the country is in the pooper we still need humor.

That is even more ridiculous. A catholic fundraiser and one of the main speakers and tuxed guest is a leading proponent of abortion? Sheesh. I feel a little ill. Laugh on...

Roy Arroyo from EWTN this morning told the Friends that Mac was the funniest last night. Brian chimes in with--oh, they were BOTH hysterical. Arroyo continues to talk about how one woman at his table supports Barry because he is for change but at the end of the night said to him--gee, Obama doesn't know how to laugh at himself much, does he?
Also, there was quite a stir created that Barry was even invited as Rudy and Lurch were not in the past. This guy said that the abortion issue would be very significant in this election.

Cindy is beautiful! The dress was just a teeny bit low cut for someone so endowed, though.
