I don’t for a second believe McCain doesn’t know more than we do about what Ayers has been up to all these years. The “old, washed-up terrorist” is just a line to rile Ayers, who still thinks he’s hot xhit.

The entire nation is listening to McCain’s words, wanting to see if he “gets it” enough to be President especially at age 72, and if conservatives can trust him on domestic policy, and he throws out a clear-sounding “out-of-touch” line about the lack of threat from Ayers???
Just so he can tweak Ayers??
If so, very, very poor judgement indeed.
Personally, I don’t believe that’s why he said it.
Which is why I wrote that somebody needs to clue him in.
